Management leads by example and participates in over 1,000 on-site safety and management visits annually to ensure compliance and to provide real-time mentoring and coaching.

Minimizing Our Environmental Impact

  • Continuing our recycling efforts associated with recyclable construction materials in partnership with our customers.
  • Maintaining our right-of-way restoration efforts.
  • Upholding our Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan for our construction work site activities in compliance with the Clean Water Act.
  • Reducing the impact of our carbon footprint emissions by maintaining a late model fleet of vehicles and equipment.
  • Recycling of our oil, fluid, and lubricants.
  • Voluntarily establishing “Green” initiatives for our regional office locations by:
    • Reducing our lighting which reduces power usage.
    • Installing energy efficient appliances, thermostats, etc.
    • Using LED’s when applicable.
    • Recycling paper.
    • Reducing our use of Styrofoam and plastic products.
    • Implementing an aluminum-recycling program that donates the proceeds to local charities.
    • Migrating to a web-based employment application process to assist in the decrease of our use of paper products and printer cartridges.

Rich Schwartz

Chief Executive Officer & President

Rich Schwartz joined GridTek in 2022 as Chief Executive Officer and President and is also a member of GridTek’s Board of Directors. He was previously the President & COO of PrimeLine Utility Services, leading all aspects of its operations, integration and technology implementation. Prior to PrimeLine, Rich was the COO of InfrastruX Group for more than 10 years. Rich also previously served as COO, for North America, for Cambridge Technology Partners., and COO of Excel Data after beginning his career acting in a number of operations, project management and finance roles at Digital Equipment Corporation. Rich holds a BS degree from the University of California, Davis and an MBA degree from the University of San Francisco.

Matt Clayton

Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

Matt Clayton joined GridTek in 2021 as Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer from First Reserve, where he was a Vice President involved in a number of investments across the United States and European infrastructure and industrial sectors. Prior to joining First Reserve, Matt was an Investment Banking Analyst at Greenhill & Company. Matt holds a BBA from the University of Texas at Austin.

Mike Walker

Executive Vice President

Mike Walker joined GridTek in 2021 as an Executive Vice President and member of the Board of Directors. Mike was previously a Senior Executive at PrimeLine Utility Services where he was in charge of strategy and M&A in addition to a variety of other roles and responsibilities. Prior to PrimeLine, Mike was a corporate attorney focused on M&A for ~25 years.

Mike Webb

Vice President of Operations & Risk Management

Vice President of Operations & Risk Management,  Mike works with our team to provide insight and thought regarding operational risk, claims management, safety, and opportunity for enhanced margin growth.  Mike was previously the Senior Vice President of Risk Management and Safety for PrimeLine Utility Services and has had over 25 years’ experience in senior leadership positions with national and regional commercial insurance brokerages where he supported companies across the infrastructure and utility services sectors.

Christian Santiago

Vice President of Accounting & Finance

In 2024, Christian Santiago joined GridTek as the Vice President of Accounting & Finance, bringing his expertise and leadership to enhance the company’s financial operations. Since 2016, he has amassed extensive experience in the utility industry. Prior to joining GridTek, Christian served as the Controller for Primeline Utility Service, where he played a pivotal role in financial management and strategic planning. Christian graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance.

Andrew Pisciotto

Chief Operating Officer

Andrew Pisciotto joined GridTek’s predecessor, Power Corporation of America, in 2015 and currently serves as GridTek’s Chief Operating Officer.   Andrew also functions as CFO and COO for three of the operating divisions within Power Corporation of America.  Prior to joining GridTek’s predecessor entities, Andrew served in a management role with Ernst & Young, LLP. Andrew holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from The University of Florida and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
